ReAct Consulting International, Inc. was founded in May 2003 by Michael A. Kemp, FSA, FCA, MAAA.
Mr. Kemp serves as President of ReAct Consulting and has over 20 years experience as a life, accident and health specialist in the insurance and reinsurance industry. He has a broad-based background having served in a number of actuarial and underwriting roles in insurance, reinsurance and consulting operations. Mr. Kemp has been a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries since 1985 and is also a Fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
After being appointed as chief actuary by two major players in the field, Mr. Kemp became President and Chief Operating Officer for one of the World's largest A&H reinsurance underwriters. Acknowledged for his achievements in developing innovative products in World markets as well as his native USA, Michael Kemp brings his unique experience and perspective to ReAct's clients.
Carlos Fuentes, MS, MBA, FSA, MAAA joined ReAct in June 2007 as Vice President. Mr. Fuentes combines strong technical and academic backgrounds with 15 years of experience in a variety of professional roles, both domestic and abroad. Prior to joining ReAct, Mr. Fuentes held several appointments such as Actuary in one of the most important US Managed Care Organizations, Senior Analyst in the Boston and London branches of a prominent A&H reinsurance underwriting facility, and Senior Special Risk Consultant for a large international reinsurer. Mr. Fuentes is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. In addition to his actuarial qualifications, Mr. Fuentes holds a Master of Science degree in Mathematics from UCLA and a Master of Business Administration - Leadership in Healthcare degree from Yale University, where he established lasting relationships with prominent healthcare executives from around the world.
